For many women their diamond earrings are our most precious piece of jewelry they will ever own. I can still remember my sister’s first pair of diamond earrings. It was her tenth birthday and weeks prior she had mentioned to my mother she wanted diamond earrings. My mother trying to get her off the trail told her that it wouldn’t happen this year, but maybe in a couple when she was a bit older. Little did she know the same day she asked my mother for diamond earrings, my mom had started shopping for some nice diamond earrings. When the day came my sister had no idea she was getting her diamond earrings and when she opened the tiny box it was as if we had fast forwarded to Christmas, because I had never seen her smile and jump around with elation like that for a while. She was so happy with her diamond earrings that it almost seemed like it took about five years before she took those diamond earrings off. To this day she wears them very proudly and says it’s a nice reminder of happy days, whenever she doesn’t feel well, she rubs her diamond jewelry earrings and instantly feels much better.
