My daughter has a formal dinner to attend for a sorority that she’s hoping to pledge and she called me last night to ask about wearing unique jewelry that would look great with her little black dress. She wanted to order something that would look stunning, but yet be different, and thought that unique jewelry was the way to go. I admit that I’m one who loves to be different, but I told her that sometimes simple is the best way to go and asked if she wanted to borrow my diamond earrings. I’d recently ordered the diamond earrings online when I found them for a price that I couldn’t ignore and when they arrived I loved them even more than I did on the site. They have become my ‘go to’ earrings and I thought that maybe Jean would want to wear them too. We talked a little more about what would look best and in the end she did decide to borrow the diamond earrings. I’ll deliver them to her sometime this week so that she can wear them on Sunday.
