My sister in law called me yesterday to ask if I’d talked to my sister lately. I had to admit that I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to call her and I asked Caroline if something was wrong with my sister. She said that she’d been feeling a little down lately and thought that maybe it would be nice if we gave Betty a party for her upcoming birthday. She said that she’d found some gold earrings that my sister commented on loving and thought that we could go together and buy the gold earrings, and throw her a party. I was all for the idea and asked her what I could do. She said she’d order the gold earrings, because she’d found them for a great price online and if I didn’t mind she wanted me to choose the cake. She said I knew what Betty liked more than she did, and so I agreed to make sure it was done. I told her to let me know how many people we would expect and that I’d start making a guest list. The gold earrings was taken care of, the cake, and now all we need to do is decide where we are going to have it and go from there.
