silver earrings

My son is a senior in high school this year and in a few short months he'll be graduating and in the fall heading off to college. One of his teachers has been a great help in assisting him with scholarship information and he wanted to give her something special. He really didn't have any idea what he wanted to give her, only that he didn't want it to be flowers, because he finds them to be something that everyone else gives, so I suggested silver earrings. I knew that she wore silver quite often, so I thought a simple pair of earrings would be something that she could keep and wear long after my son was graduated from the school and off at college.
