A week ago, I woke up to find a box with a beautiful pair of silver earrings beside the bed. I’ll admit, when I first woke up, I thought I was dreaming, but tucked inside the box that contained the silver earrings was a note from my husband that said that he loved me and this was the first of many gifts to come in the next week.
It was ten days before our 10th wedding anniversary and he decided to give me a different gift every day for ten days and the silver earrings kicked off the ten days. There are still a few days until our actual anniversary, but during this past week he’s given me several other beautiful pieces of jewelry in addition to the initial silver earrings. I asked him how he’s been able to order them online without me ever seeing them delivered and he smiled and said he’d had them all sent to his office. He assures me that the best is yet to come, but living with him has been nothing but bliss. I have to say, I am enjoying the extra attention.
