With graduation around the corner, my husband and I decided that we thought it would be nice to give our daughter her own pair of diamond earrings as part of her graduation gift. Her senior prom was a few weeks ago and she actually borrowed my favorite pair of diamond earrings to wear with her dress because she thought it would look great. She was right. Not only did the diamond earrings look great with her dress, but it gave her just enough sparkle without being too much. I noticed that several of her friends had a little too much sparkle by wearing overstated jewelry.
I went online last week so that I could browse for diamond earrings and within minutes I’d found a beautiful pair that I knew our daughter would love. I emailed them to my husband, and he agreed. I ordered them and they should arrive any day now in plenty of time for graduation. At this point, I haven’t decided yet if I want to give her the earrings before graduation so she can wear them out on the field, or if I’d rather wait until her party and give them to her. I’m sure I’ll figure something out before graduation day. I’m so proud of her.
